The Enneagram

What is the Enneagram and how does it work with life and executive coaching?

The Enneagram is a wonderfully inspiring and practical personality profiling approach and framework, with a fascinating history.

As a life coaching and executive coaching tool, La Vita Nuova uses the Enneagram with great success with all of our life coaching and executive coaching clients. What distinguishes it from most other personality profiling tools is that it is expansive, dynamic, and profound, providing brilliant insights and opportunities for personal growth and development, as well as endless practical applications for dramatically improved personal and professional relationships, for uncovering your real vocation, for career development and team-building, among other areas. While many personality profiling approaches can be static and reductive, the Enneagram is positively transformative if used as a coaching and development framework. Rather than simply defining your personality in a rather flat, one-dimensional way, the Enneagram shines a light on how you can become your best and most successful self, and on the places where you may be holding yourself back, limiiting, or even sabotaging yourself. The Enneagram provides the base for a practical development plan on how you can become your best, healthiest, most successful, inspired and fulfilled self. Dr. Nicola Bunting has trained extensively with Don Riso and Russ Hudson, the leading international experts on the Enneagram, authors of many books on the subject, and founders of the Enneagram Institute.

Enneagram Workshops

Apart from using the Enneagram very successfully with her individual life and executive coaching clients, Nicola also offers workshops on understanding the Enneagram for groups of individuals and work teams, and is invited to deliver Enneagram workshops as a corporate team-building exercise or as an executive coaching retreat. Working especially well for teams, a day exploring the Enneagram helps individuals understand themselves and their colleagues in more depth, leverage each other's strengths more effectively to maximize team performance, improve relationships, and resolve and limit conflicts with colleagues and clients.
